Please consider sponsoring our efforts to renovate a key center for at-risk women in San Diego this June through AEC Cares, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that annually unites the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) community in a one-day volunteer “blitz build.” This year, our 2026 project will benefit Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego (CCDSD) — an organization with more than 100 years of serving families in need.
On Wednesday, June 10 – coinciding with the AIA26 Conference on Architecture & Design – more than 150 volunteers will gather to renovate the CCDSD Rachel's Women's Center, a day center that provides a safe, supportive environment for women who are unhoused or have very low incomes. The renovation will reimagine the center as a more welcoming space that reflects the dignity and resilience of the women it serves.
As a sponsor, your company will be recognized across our social media channels, event signage, print materials, and on the back of our volunteer T-shirts. More details are available in our Sponsorship Kit.
Your support will help us create a safe, supportive environment for women with few resources, and positively impact the San Diego community for years to come. For questions, contact info@aeccares.com.
If you’ll be in San Diego for AIA26, we also invite you and your colleagues to volunteer on-site with AEC Cares on June 10 to help transform Rachel’s Women’s Center into a more welcoming, dignified space. Sign up here.
