Dave Conway, President & Chief Executive Officer
Dave Conway is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ConstructConnect, the combination of BidClerk, CDC, CMD, and iSqFt; positioned as the commercial construction industry’s leading provider of construction project information, data analytics, and preconstruction software. Joining the company in 2000, Dave was named CEO and has led the company through challenging market conditions and dramatic growth and product innovation. A graduate of the University of Dayton, he began his career in the healthcare construction market, where he gained an appreciation for the relationship between owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and building product manufacturers. Dave also serves on several for-profit and not-for-profit boards including Boys Hope Girls Hope and AEC Cares.
Phil Hoey, Chief Financial Officer
Phil Hoey is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ConstructConnect. Phil joined the company in 2015 after serving as the CFO of SourceLink Acquisition, LLC where he successfully guided that company through a turnaround and eventual sale. A graduate of the College of William & Mary, he has held executive level positions at various public and private organizations including GE Capital, NBC, AOL, Epsilon, and LexisNexis. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity relationship management and debt financing, and has had a particular focus on technology and information management companies.
Craig Tate, Chief Revenue Officer
Craig Tate is the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of ConstructConnect. Joining the company in early 2015, Craig is responsible for all customer-facing functions at ConstructConnect, including sales, marketing, customer success management, and customer support. A graduate of Penn State University, Craig has 33+ years of experience in enterprise software sales and marketing – including 17+ years at Oracle and most recently, 2 years as Senior Vice President at Salesforce.com. Leveraging his software industry experience, Craig is focused on evolving ConstructConnect’s go-to-market strategy and ensuring that our customers realize maximum value for their investment in our products and services.
Scott Waterbury, Chief Operating Officer
Scott Waterbury is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of ConstructConnect. Joining the company in 2002, Scott was named COO and has led the company through both challenging market conditions and dramatic growth and product innovation. Scott was a founding member of BidClerk, where he was an integral part of the company’s strategy, operations, and technology. He previously served as the Director of Operations at NetClerk Inc., a web-based SaaS business that facilitated the procurement of commercial construction permits and business licenses. In addition to overseeing company operations at NetClerk, he played a vital role in product development. Scott holds a degree in business administration with continuing education in information technology.
Alex Hart, Chief Technology Officer
Alex Hart is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of ConstructConnect. With a bachelor’s degree in Systems analysis from Miami University, Alex spent the first part of his career working with private and public sector customers, providing professional consulting services. Alex joined ConstructConnect in 2007, where his earlier efforts resulted in the architecture of a new platform, the launch of the original “SupplyLink” BPM offering and line of business, and building and support of a great team. His current focus is on integrating the back office and infrastructure teams and technologies for the combined businesses.
Joseph Madda, Chief Information Officer
Joseph Madda is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of ConstructConnect, working out of the Chicago office. He is responsible for the product management, quality assurance, business analyst, and product development teams across each of the businesses. With a focus on product innovation, he has helped to drive efficiencies in the systems used by the companies and delivered industry-leading products to our customers to ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction. He received his undergraduate degree in management information Systems from Creighton University and a master’s degree in information systems from DePaul University.
Henry Purdy, Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of ConstructConnect, Henry Purdy oversees all marketing activities, leads business development and participates in overall corporate strategic initiatives. He brings with him over two decades of construction software and management experience. Henry began his career as a design engineer at Black and Veatch and went on to become a structural engineer at Rutherford and Chekene. Before joining ConstructConnect, Henry served as Vice President of Product Management for BuildPoint Corporation, where he helped shape business and product strategy and customer implementation of the industry’s first online preconstruction management platform. Henry has a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Duke University and a master’s degree in structural engineering from Stanford University.
Mark Casaletto, President of ConstructConnect – Canada
Mark Casaletto, President of ConstructConnect – Canada, has over 15 years leadership experience in the industry. He is an active speaker at industry events providing insight and intelligence on the state and economics of the Canadian construction industry as well as trends and current events impacting the industry. In 2005, he joined ConstructConnect as General Manager and has since steered this 90-year-old authoritative voice of Canada’s construction industry to a respected and popular Canadian source for construction news, project data, and industry analytics. Mark sits on the innovation board of the CCA which puts him at the forefront of emerging technologies and changing markets and enables him to offer opportunities for new products, new services, and new business models to the industry.
Jeff Cryder, Vice President of Finance
As Vice President of Finance for ConstructConnect, Jeff is responsible for safeguarding the company’s assets, managing business risk, shareholder relations, and, together with his team of professionals, providing accurate, timely, and relevant financial reporting. Jeff’s experience began in the Cincinnati office of Arthur Andersen, where he was active in the firm’s local construction industry practice. For the next 20 years, he was a senior finance executive in the mining, heavy equipment manufacturing, and aviation industries. As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Executive Jet Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NetJets Inc., a unit of Berkshire Hathaway, Jeff’s strategic, operational, and financial leadership contributed to significant revenue growth while maintaining profitability.
Julie Storm, Vice President of Human Resources
Julie Storm is the Vice President of Human Resources for ConstructConnect. Joining the company in 2014, Julie was brought into the organization to assist the leadership team with developing a “Top Place to Work” culture within the fast growing company structure. A graduate of Wilmington College with a degree in business and her SCP and SPHR certification, she began her career in healthcare, followed by HR Leadership positions in advertising/branding, manufacturing, and hospitality. Julie also works with the Healing Center, a non-profit center for the underserved in our community.
Terah Volpenhein, Vice President of Customer Success
Terah Volpenhein is the Vice President of Customer Success for ConstructConnect. Joining the company in 2005, Terah has held various roles including Sales, Sales Training, Sales Management (of both new & existing business), and Director of Sales. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Terah began her career in sales in the education market. In her current role, Terah is responsible for both the retention and upsell of subcontractor and manufacturer customers. Terah is passionate about providing a superior experience for all clients, helping to instill a consultative approach to all customer interactions. Her team’s mission is to ensure we are achieving the customer’s desired outcomes, and for them to be more successful with us, than without us.
